About Us

Vivienne

Flores Diems Creative Director and Designer Vivienne Payne-Derricutt Ba (Hons) is a history graduate who specialised in 18th century women’s history.  Vivienne went on to study Floristry at Reeseheath College having discovered a passion for flowers and floristry.  After a spell working for Paul Burrell Flowers in Cheshire Vivienne decided to set up Flores Diem with her husband.

Uniquely Vivienne  having a passion for both history and flowers and a talent for historical research means that Flores Diem has the ability to deliver period correct floristry for your themed wedding, event or even TV and Film.

Philip

Flores Diems MD, head tea maker and sweeper up in chief Philip Payne has a varied background, from a career in Sales to advanced child rearing via the renovation of several period properties.

Having a very practical side Phil has the ability to create the physical underpinnings for the beautiful arrangements that Vivienne creates.  He has been known to even hold a flower now and then!

Daisy

Daisy is our Senior Florist and Vivs right hand. Daisy came to us for a weeks work experience from the local high school in 2019. We gave her the worst jobs to do, washing buckets in the cold, stripping roses and she did everything we asked. Daisy went on to study for her City and Guilds level 2 and 3 at Reaseheath college and is a fully qualified and talented Florist. She even won the Good Florist Guides “One to Watch” award in 2021.

Daisy is known as our Flower Daughter, and you’ll find her manning the shop solo when we are on holiday or otherwise occupied.
